Hot Air Ballooning over the Temples of Bagan, Myanmar

A hot air balloon tour of the incredible temples of Bagan is not to be missed… if you can afford it.  It’s eye-wateringly expensive (we’ll deal with the credit card bill when we get back and get a job) but utterly amazing.  Seeing the temples from the air gives you a whole new perspective of the landscape, and being in a hot air balloon is just magical.  

We loved it, and the kids were beyond excited.  If we get the opportunity to have another go in a balloon while we’re travelling, we’ll absolutely give the credit card another bashing.
